Bewitching Keeneland

We begin our horse racing weekend with a fantastic Turf race from Kentucky.

Keeneland Race 8 {Bewitch~G3~1 1/2 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A great group of twelve will take to the green in this annual affair. There is a little bit of speed to keep the pace honest, though the forwardly placed may have an advantage if they run modestly.  The majority have gone this distance and those that haven't show the potential to make it.  This should be a very exciting race.

#9 Romantica [GB] (Rosario / Mott) is coming off an extended layoff, but should seek the victory.  She holds the highest last out speed number, was working a two race progression, and has put in three strong peaking workouts.  This gal is a daughter of the great Turf sire, Galileo [IRE].
$1 SHOW.

#11 Aigue Marine [GB] (Graham / Clement) should challenge with a couple of excellent last out speed numbers and one solid workout.  She holds the second highest speed number at the distance.  Also a daughter of Galileo [IRE], she should be forwardly placed ready to pounce.
$1 SHOW.

#2 Left a Message (Lezcano / Proctor) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four stout workouts.  She is 100% in the money at this distance having run it three times.  This gal loves the Keeneland Turf.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Viva Rafaela [BRZ] (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) could be in the mix with third highest (tie) last out speed number and two terrific workouts.  She could be the front running speed and has acquitted herself well by hitting the board in a previous run at this distance.

#8 Angel Terrace (Leparoux / Sheppard) should be in the mix sharing the third highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two superb workouts.  She is another that loves the Keeneland Turf.

#9 Romantica [GB]  /  #11 Aigue Marine [GB]  /  #2 Left a Message  /  #6 Viva Rafaela [BRZ], #8 Angel Terrace.
