Gulfstream Superfecta Sunday

We book into Superfecta Sunday as the excitement builds for KD 140.  Today we look at  a speedy Turf sprint down in South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 8 {Safari Queen Stakes~5 furlongs~TURF~3 year old Up~Stakes}
A robust field of nine will take to the green in this afternoon feature.  There is plenty of speed which should make the race speedy.  The field is closely comparable in terms of speed numbers and most have gone this short distance.  It should be a very good race.  Our task is to cobble together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#3 Madam Giry (Castro / Gambolati) has the edge as she comes of a freshening.  She holds the highest last out speed number and has put in two solid works.  She also holds the highest speed number at the distance having raced it eleven times securing a 72% in the money record.  The pace should benefit her running style.

#1 Angel's South (Chamafi / Iadisernia) should challenge as she comes off a Turf mile in her last which puts her with the third highest (tie) last out speed number.  She has put in two serious peaking workouts prepping for this one.  This gal should be forwardly placed ready to pounce.

#4 Coursegold (Bravo / Hennig) should contend with an o.k. last out speed number at a longer sprint and three top-notch peaking workouts.  She should also benefit from a fast pace.  In addition to loving the Gulfstream Turf course having hit the board in all five of her starts on it, she loves the surface in general with an 84% in the money record from thirteen starts.  She is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$1 SHOW.

#8 What a Party (Saez / Plesa) may be the leader in this soiree.  She holds the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one sound workout.  She has done very well at this distance with an 80% in the money record from five starts.  This gal could wire the field.
