Superfecta Sunday at the Big "A"

Ah, its Kentucky Derby week and the excitement builds toward the first Saturday in May.  Today we take a look at a nice Stakes race at the Big "A".

Aqueduct Race 9 {NY Stallion Stakes~6 1/2 furlongs~3 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A really nice field of eight will hit the dirt in speedy fashion.  Three quarters of the field have the need for speed in this feature race.  It could be the ones that sit right off the pace that come through.  Our task is to knit a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#5 Storied Lady (Castellano / Hertler) should benefit from a sizzling pace.  She holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a route, a five race progression, and two solid workouts.  This gal will be tracking the pace ready to strike.

#4 Bella the Bandit (I. Ortiz / L. Rice) should challenge with a forwardly placed effort.  She shares the third highest last out speed number at a sprint, has stitched a two race progression, and has put in two sound peaking workouts.  This filly is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Henry's Gal (C. Velasquez / Rodriguez) is likely to go off as the clear favorite with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  This gal will show significant speed and could wire this field.

#7 Miss Narcissist (Alvarado / L. Rice) is coming off an extended layoff, but should do just fine.  Prior to the layoff she sported the second highest last out speed number and has put in three robust workouts prepping for her return to racing.  She too will show speed.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#5 Storied Lady  +  #4 Bella the Bandit  +  #2 Henry's Gal  +  #7 Miss Narcissist.
