Friday in the Southern California Sun

Today we take a peek at a good Turf mile race in the Southern California sun.

Santa Anita Park Race 6 {1 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A good group of ten will take to the grass in this mile Turf race. It appears to be a speed laden event that could have an interesting outcome. The speed numbers are very comparable making it even more of challenge.

#2 Horizontalyspeakin (Espinoza / Sadler) might be able to edge out the field with the highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and four sensational peaking workouts. This lad should be forwardly placed ready to strike.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#7 Mega Heat (Nakatani / Eurton) should pose the fiercest challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two stout workouts. This lad will be the first to pick off the speedsters if they develop a hot pace.

#8 Super Ability (Smith / Gaines) should challenge with the third highest (3-way tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and four strong workouts. He should also be near the front end ready to make his move through the stretch.

#4 Boozer (Bejarano / Glatt) should contend with a successful last out effort finishing first and putting in three hearty workouts. This guy should also be part of the forwardly placed crew. He has also been quite successful over the surface hitting the board 75% of the time.
