Furlong Friday at Oaklawn

Best of luck to all those players in the 2015 National Handicapping Championship at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On this Furlong Friday we take in a snappy sprint at magnificent Oaklawn Park.

A good crop of nine will go to the gate in this featured claimer. Half the field is speedsters so there should be some good pace. All of them have had layoffs, from short freshenings to lengthy ones. It should be a highly competitive event.

#4 Riley Rocks (Esquivel / Mason) might have the advantage with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two prime peaking workouts. He is 100% in the money at this distance and holds the highest speed number at same.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#12 Holy Boss (Santana / Asmussen) could go off as the favorite with a couple of good last out speed numbers against stronger competition. He is working a two race progression, and has put in four superlative peaking workouts. Ready and able, he should be forwardly placed seeking the win.

#9 Hidden Danger (Bridgmohan / Catalano) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four sturdy peaking workouts. This lad will show speed. He is 100% in the money from three starts.

#3 Subtle Indian (Landeros / Diodoro) is coming back to racing after a year layoff. He is now a gelding and will be making his second career start. This guy holds the third highest speed number over dirt at a much shorter sprint. With three hearty workouts, he could be an unknown factor in the race.
