A Preaky Furlong Friday

On to Pimlico on the eve of the second jewel of the Triple Crown, the Preakness. It should be a great Furlong Friday.

Pimlico Race 8 {Adena Springs Miss Preakness~G3~6 furlongs~3 year-old~Fillies~Graded Stakes}

A highly talented group of eight fillies will make their start in this annual affair.  This is a speed laden group which should make for a very hot pace. Speed numbers are very close indicating this will be a highly competitive race. Let's get fired up for a great Preakness weekend.

#10 Spark (Castellano / Jerkens) could have an edge with a versatile running style that should be reluctant to get involved with the speedfest upfront.  She has the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression and one stout workout. She sould take another step forward today.
#2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Divine Dawn (Clark / L. Jones) should be ready to roll with a pressing style. She shares the fourth highest last out speed number and has put in one bullet workout. This gal has a victory at this distance with the fourth highest speed number at the same.

#9 Irish Jasper (Carmouche / Ryan) should contend with the second highest last ut speed number, a three race progression, and one peaking bullet workout. She has a terrific versatile running style that should fit into the pace scenario well.

#4 Super Saks (Nakatani / Lukas) should challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and three stellar peaking workouts. This gal will be the speed of the speed looking to wire the field. She holds the highest speed number at the distance with a 100% in the money record from two trips.
