Superfecta Sunday down at Ol' Del Mar

Another gorgeous Superfecta Sunday down in San Diego. On the other hand, snowing here in Chicago. So we look to marvelous Cali to get some Turf action.

Del Mar Race 8 {1 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~CA~Allowance Optional Claiming}

A reduced field of nine California Turfers will hit the grass in this swell Turf feature. There is some speed to keep the pace humming. Speed numbers are very close making it a competitive race. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta ticket.

#2 Push Through (G. Franco / Freeman) appears to be in tip-top form with the fourth highest last out speed number and one very solid workout. This lad loves the distance and the Del Mar course achieving a 100% in the money record over both. A son of Square Eddie, he should track the pace and strike in the stretch. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$3.00 SHOW.

#3 Acclimate (h. Figueroa / D'Amato) also appears to be in fine form having won his last two races. He holds the second highest last out speed number and three superb workouts This guy enjoys the distance and surface. A son of Acclamation, he is another that will be in the tracking party.

#9 Carville (Pereira / Carava) shares the third highest speed number at the distance having achieved a 75% in the money record at it. He has put in four vigorous workouts during a brief freshening. A son of Globalize, he should be part of the pace scenario.

#5 Jet Set Rider (Prat / Baltas) looks to improve with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and two hearty workouts. He has already notched a win over the Del Mar course. A son of Tribal Rule, he should be guided into a great tracking position ready to close gallantly.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#2 Push Through  +  #3 Acclimate  +  #9 Carville  +  #5 Jet Set Rider.
