Superfecta Sunday under the Twin Spires

We look at a challenging maiden special weight in Kentucky on our Superfecta Sunday.

Churchill Downs Race 6 {5 1/2 Furlongs~Off the TURF and on the dirt~2 year-old~Maiden Special Weight}

Despite being moved from Turf to Dirt, twelve youngsters will go to the gate. There should be ample pace. For those that have run, the speed numbers are very close. There will be three first time starters among the field. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta ticket.

#8 Grenadier (Lanerie / Tomlinson) should be ready for a big effort as he makes his third start in the form cycle. He holds the highest overall speed number, a two race progression, and one sound workout. This lad is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Zeroed In (De La Cruz / B. Cox) will be switching from Turf to dirt for his second career race. He shares the second highest overall speed number and has put in three dynamite peaking workouts. This guy should be forwardly placed and ready to dash.

#9 Uncapped (Gaffalione / Walsh) should challenge sharing the second highest overall speed number and putting in three superb peaking workouts. He should be part of the pace scenario from the get-go.

#5 Tip Candy (Santana / Asmussen) comes off a freshening with one solid workout. He holds the third highest overall speed number, albeit over the Turf. He has already hit the board at the distance. This lad should be tracking the ready to strike.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)
