Furlong Friday in South Florida

Into a wonderful Independence weekend we take a peek at a swell Turf race for Furlong Friday.

Gulfstream Park Race 4 {7 1/2 Furlongs~TURF~3 year-old Up~Maiden Claiming}

#1 Reorganize (Prado / Braddy) has already hit the board at this distance twice. He holds the fourth highest last out speed number and is on a three race progression. Safe to say this guy enjoys the Turf. A son of Data Link, he has the tactical speed to stay the course.
$1 WIN  /  $2 SHOW.

#4 Good Timing Man (Rendon / Biacone) should challenge with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and one hearty workout. This lad holds the highest speed number at the distance. A son of Overdriven he should run close to the pace and strike in the stretch.

#6 Spanned (Zayas / Maker) will go off as the deserved favorite as he drops in from a Maiden Special Weight race where he scored the highest last out speed number amongst this group. He has put in a powerful peaking workout tab of four works in preparation. A son of Arch, he should be forwardly place ready to score.

#8 Taranto (Panici / Sancal) should contend with the second highest last out speed number at a route and three superb peaking workouts. He likes the surface of the Gulfstream course. A son of the great Gio Ponti, he has every chance of winning this one on the front end if he is sent.
