Superfecta Sunday Turf Sprint in Chicago

Nothing better than a little Chicago Turf for our Superfecta Sunday.

Arlington International Race 8 {5 Furlongs~TURF~3 year-old Up~Starter Optional Claiming}

A good field of nine will take to the green in this the "lucky last" on the card. There is sufficient speed to get this race moving. Speed numbers are very close making it a highly competitive event. All of these lads have proven ability over the turf and the distance. Our task is to needle together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket. It should be a great race to cap off the week.

#2 Mongol Bull (Valdivia / Rainwater) looks like he is ready to take on this field. He won in his last at the same distance and has put in two strong peaking workouts. This guy relishes the Arlington Turf having hit the board in all eight times he has run over it. He holds the highest speed number at this distance. A son of Hard Spun, he should race close to the leaders and spring into the stretch. He is out Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$3 SHOW.

#5 Shanghai Point (Emigh / Vanden Berg) should make a good go of it with the second highest last out speed number and one sharpening workout. This lad is 65% in the money from twenty career starts. He seems to enjoy the Arlington course and distance. A son of Shanghai Bobby, he should be part of the lead crew.

#4 Royal Commish (J. Lopez / McCannick) will be seeking his third win in a row. He holds the highest last out speed number and one solid workout. This lad is 50% in the money at the distance from fourteen starts and 51% in the money from twenty-nine career starts. A son of Field Commission, he will be looking for a fast pace to show his closing style in the stretch run.

#7 Pablo Del Monte (Felix / H. Rodriguez) looks to be in great form having hit the board in his last three races. He holds the third highest last out speed number at a slightly longer sprint. This gelding is 56% in the money from thirty-two career starts. A son of Giant's Causeway he should be part of the pace scenario.
