 On this Superfecta Sunday we look in on a fine graded stakes race on the Turf.

Going to the Turf on Stakes Saturday

 We go to the Kentucky Turf for a great graded stakes race on this Stakes Saturday.

Churchill Downs Race 10 {Commonwealth Turf~G3~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old~Graded Stakes}

A competitive field of ten will hit the grass in this penultimate race on the card.

This talented group will square off with any one of them having a chance to be victorious. Speed numbers are very close. Superfecta Sunday in South Florida

 We take a look at a nice Maiden Claiming race mid-way on the Gulfstream card on this Superfecta Sunday.

Gulfstream Park Race 5 {5 Furlongs~Synthetic~3 year-old Up~Maiden Claiming}

A nice modest field of ten will take to the Tapeta in this mid-card Maiden Claimer.

Past Performances used:  Equibase.

There is plenty of forwardly placed types to keep the pace rolling. Speed numbers are fairly close as all entrants have competed over the Tapeta surface. Four in the race will compete at this sprint distance for the first time. All have run over the Gulfstream Tapeta. It should be a good race to wager and watch.

#8 Freedom Street (M. Husbands / S.A. Joseph) is the deserved morning line favorite with the highest last out speed number at slightly longer distance. This lad could show some speed or back off and track the leaders. He finished fourth facing tougher competition in his last. A son of Mendelssohn, he is 25% in the money from four starts.

 There is a dearth of Stakes races on this Saturday, so we turn to a nice Turf Allowance in Maryland.

Stakes Saturday on the Kentucky Turf

 We look at a race long on the Turf under the Twin Spires for Stakes Saturday.

A competitive field of eleven will hit the Turf in this annual contest.

On to the Turf for Stakes Saturday

 It is Breeder's Cup Championships at Del Mar today. We take a look at the last race on the card where the ladies will battle on the Turf.

Del Mar Thoroughbred Club {Breeder's Cup Filly & Mare Turf~G1~1 3/8 mile~TURF~Fillies/Mares~3-year-old Up~Graded Stakes}

A full group of thirteen ladies will hit the Del Mar Turf in this annual event.

Past Performances used:  DRF Formulator.

Expect the Euro-invaders to dominate this race. There are six in the field. Speed Figs/Time Form ratings are fairly close. Five have competed at the distance, while two will cut back to the distance from their last. Only three have raced over the Del Mar course. There are five millionaires in the field. It comes up a little light on speed. You can expect a euro-quickening as they head into the stretch run. It should be a fantastic race to conclude this year's Breeders Cup Championships.

#9 Cinderella's Dream (Buick / Appleby) comes in from Great Britain. This gal finished second in this race last year. She hopes to win it this year. In preparation she has cobbled six nice works over the Turf at Keeneland in the last thirty days. This filly holds the second highest speed number over Turf. Look for her to be part of the tracker back ready to strut in the stretch. A millionaire daughter of Sharmadal, she is 85% in the money from fourteen starts.

Superfecta Sunday at Santa Anita

 A we look toward the Breeder's Cup Championships later this week, we take in the last race of today's Santa Anita card.

Santa Anita Park Race 10 {6 1/2 furlongs~ downhill TURF~3 year-old Up~Fillies/Mares Allowance Optional Claiming}

A good group of eleven will take flight on the Santa Anita hillside course to end the Fall meet.

This is a very fine race to cap off the card. It comes a little light on speed though there are a number of fowardly placed types to carry the pace. Speed figs are fairly close. Only four have covered the downhill course. Eight have competed at this distance. All but one have competed over a Turf surface. It should be a great race to handicap and wager.

#6 Royal Charter [GB] (Ayuso / Powell) drops in from a slightly more competitive race at Del Mar and cuts back from a mile distance. She should track the pace closely. This gal has raced downhill a couple of times hitting the board in one of them. She holds the second highest last out speed number and four strong workouts. A daughter of Expert Eye [GB], he is 37% in the money from sixteen starts.

 On this Superfecta Sunday we take in a fabulous Turf Sprint in the Big Apple.

Superfecta Sunday at Kentucky Downs

 On this Superfecta Sunday we look in on a great Stakes race as the Kentucky Downs meet closes out.

Kentucky Downs Race 9 {Juvenile Mile Stakes~1 mile~TURF~2 year-old~Stakes}

A reduced field of nine will hit the adulating KD course.

There is enough speedy and forwardly placed types to produce a decent pace. Only two have raced over the Kentucky Downs course and both during this short meet. Speed numbers are fairly close. It should be competitive as these youngsters tackle this rolling course. It should be a great race on a fantastic Superfecta Sunday of racing.

#7 Street Beast (Machado / Colebrook) is the overwhelming favorite as he wheels back from a win over this course just a week ago. He holds the highest last out speed number and one superb workout. Turfing along the Jersey Shore

 Off we go to the Jersey shore for some great Turf action.

A good field of ten will go to the gate in this lucky last on the card.
