Good Twilight Races from PA to CA

Today we look at an allowance race at Presque Isle Downs and a stakes race at Fairplex Park.

Presque Isle Downs {1 mile~3 year old Up~PA~Allowance}
A good field of nine will line up for this race.  Runaway Brute (Martinez / Trombetta) holds the advantage with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts.  Texplosive (Montalvo / W. Smith) should surprise with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one strong workout.  GFS Express (Spieth / Beattie)  looks ready to run well with the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route, and eight race progression, and a 100% in the money record at the distance.  Yuletide (R. Allen / Pratt) can be expected to compete well witht the fourth highest last out speed number, a five race progression, and three wins for six races at the distance.  Let's play Presque Isle Downs.

Fairplex Park {PD Shepherd~7 furlongs~2 year old~fillies~Stakes}
A great field of seven two-year olds.  Not one of these fillies have raced on the dirt surface.  Belleofthebridle (Flores / Solis) looks to be the one to beat with the third highest last out speed number and four stamina producing, peaking workouts.  Swiss Wild Cat (Santiago / Harrington) will challenge with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number and two athletic workouts.  Hi Ho Yodeler (Pedroza / Harrington) will also challenge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two solid workouts.  Faisca (Quinonez /Dominguez) will be in the hunt for a piece of the purse also with the fourth highest last out speed number and three well-built, peaking workouts.  Vonn Nez (Sandoval / Kruljac) could be the surprise though only a maiden.  She has a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and three stengthening, peaking workouts.  Let's play Fairplex.

Thursday's Results
Arlington Park R7.  Our first pick, Beautiful Bliss, finished 3rd for show money of $3.20.  Our second pick, Connie Mac [IRE], won (1st) for show money of $2.20.  Superfecta went 2-4-9-3.
Bankroll rises slightly to $10.60.
