Thursday, Turfday at Keeneland

Another horse racing weekend begins as we look at a splendid grade three Turf race at magnificent Keeneland.

Keeneland Race 8 {Bewitch~G3~1 1/2 mile~4 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
As of this writing the Turf course has been rated yielding.  With two scratches, there will be eight going to the gate.  It could be a very modest pace as there is no speedy type.

#2 La Luna de Miel [GER] (J. Velazquez / Motion) has a very minimal edge with the highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two robust workouts.  She has a perfect record at the distance over two races.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Endless Expanse [IRE] (Leparoux / Clement) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.  She is 100% in the money at this distance over two races.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Keertana (Lezcano / Proctor) can also be expected to challenge also with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four stellar workouts.  She is 100% in the money over the Keeneland course.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests
#6 Honimiere [IRE] (Castellano / Attfield) will making her first North American start having been racing in Great Britain.  She looks strong over this surface and has put in three stamina inducing workouts in prep for this race.

#10 My Baby Baby (A. Garcia / McPeek) looks ready to step up to this distance with a triple digit speed number over the Turf and three superb workouts.  Could be in the hunt from the outside post.
