Saratoga Stakes Action

A significant Saturday for Saratoga Stakes Action.  Today we look at a race at the spectacular "Spa".

Saratoga Race 10 {Whitney Invitational~G1~1 1/8 mile~3 year old Up~Stakes}
This will be a superlative handicapping venture.  It would come as no surprise if any one of this field of eleven pulls off the victory.  All are members of the triple digit speed number club.  This is what horse racing is all about.

Considering our current budget level, we will take advantage of the one dollar show bet that is available at Saratoga (and other NYRA tracks).  A beautiful thing for budget conscience handicappers.

#7 Rail Trip (Dominguez / R. Dutrow) looks tremendously prepped for this race with the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and four athletically peaking workouts.  He should press the attack and get first jump on the field.
$1 SHOW.

#2 Friend Or Foe (Lezcano / Kimmel) looks ready to battle in the stretch sharing the second highest last out speed number and putting in the best workout tab, taking to the track with four well-built, peaking workouts.  Should also press the attack ready to strike.
$1 SHOW.

#5 Tizway (Maragh / Bond) will be coming off a freshening as most in this field are.  He posted the highest (tie) last out speed number, has a two race progression going, and has put in three robust, peaking workouts.  Another who will press readying for the stretch run.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Flat Out (Solis / Dickey) looks powerful enough to close down the field sharing the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stout workouts.  This quick closers will challenge the forwardly placed.

#4 Giant Oak (Bridgmohan / Block) can surprise this field if the pace heats up given the large number of runners settling on the front end.  He has posted a couple of decent last out speed numbers, holds a two race progression, and has put in three smokin', peaking workouts.  Look for a deep close from this lumbering fellow.

10 CENT Superfecta

#7 Rail Trip / #2 Friend Or Foe / #5 Tizway / #1 Flat Out, #4 Giant Oak.

Friday's Results

Bankroll drops to a low of $3.55.
