Del Mar Diva's

The horse racing weekend has arrived.  Today, a lovely Thursday, we look at a good quality race at beautiful Del Mar.

Del Mar Race 7 {1 mile~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Optional Claiming}
A small field of six will make the start.  Without much speed, this race could be very strategically run.  All appear to be equally matched.

#1 Pure Class (Sanguinttia / Glatt) looks strong with the highest last out speed number and four superb workouts.  She has the abiltiy to close down this field.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Toro Bonito (Bejarano / Baffert) appears ready to succceed at the mile distance with the third highest last out speed number, an eight race progression, and four robust workouts.  She has struggled at the mile distance.  Today she could turn it around.
#2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Elvies Lane (Rosario / Hollendorfer) is coming off a longer route with the second highest (tie) last out speed number and three fiercely fast workouts.  She could pull off the victory.

#2 Downhill Diva (Blanc / Harrington) appears well positioned to utilize her highest speed number at this distance to challenge the other gals.  She will be coming up in distance and has put in three athletic workouts in the last thirty days.  She could surprise.
