Handicapper's Dream Race

Another wonderful Stakes Saturday gets under way with a Handicapper's Dream Race in the Donn Handicap at gorgeous Gulfstream Park.

Gulfstream Park Race 10 {Donn Handicap~G1~1 1/8 mile~4 year old Up~Stakes}
A great handicapping race that no horse racing fan will want to miss on this Stakes Saturday.  A full field of eleven extremely talented horses will go to the gate.  Among them four millionaires and the balance near the top of the scale in career earnings.  A nicely balanced field with speedsters, pressers, trackers, and closers all represented.  It promises to have an exciting finish.

#9 Shackleford (Castanon / Romans) is going to fire fresh here with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four sensational, peaking workouts.  He should be right off the early pace readying himself to push into the lead and hit the wire.
$1 WIN / SHOW.

#10 Hymm Book (J. Velazquez / McGaughey) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number prior to a freshening.  He is working a three race progression and has put in four robust workouts in preparation for this event.  Tracking and closing will be his modus operandi.
$1 PLACE / SHOW.

#2 Mission Impazible (Castellano / Pletcher) is another with a nice freshening and looks ready with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three solid workouts.  He most likely will press and track for a piece of the purse pie.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#11 Sangaree (Maragh / McLauglin) should be the surprise sharing the third highest last out speed number, holding a two race progression, and putting in two modest workouts.  This guy can also press/track hoping to get a good jump as they head into the stretch.
