A New York Friday

Heading into the weekend, let's take a look at a quick little sprint at the "Big A".

Aqueduct Race 4 {6 furlongs~4 year old Up~Claiming}
A speedy field of six will make their start in this nice little sprint.  Speedsters, pressers, trackers, and closers are all represented in here.

#5 This One's for Phil (Dominguez / R. Dutrow) looks ready for the win with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and four terrific, peaking workouts.  This guy should sit right off the leader and make his run in the stretch.
$1 WIN / SHOW.

#6 Hillswick (C. Velasquez / Rodriguez) should be the leader with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four superb workouts.  He could wire the field or at least get a piece of the purse pie.
$1 PLACE / SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Star of New York / #1A Laysh Laysh Laysh (Alvarado / R. Dutrow) No matter which horse goes to the gate, either one will be in the mix.  Both have decent last out speed numbers and have put in a solid workout tab of two workouts.  Look for either to be in the money.

#3 Gallant Fields (Castro / McLaughlin) will be in the hunt with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and three athletic workouts including a bullet work.  He could track the field and make his move in the stretch.

10 CENT Superfecta

#5 This Ones for Phil / #6 Hillswick / #1 Star of New York or #1A Laysh Laysh Laysh / #3 Gallant Fields.
