Turfing at Gulfstream

Thursday Turfing starts our horse racing weekend.  We need an excellent weekend to start off the March to KD 138.

Gulfstream Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~fillies/mares~Claiming}
A great group of ten will make a start over the grass.  This race comes up a little light on speed, but should have a thrilling finish.

#9 Deputy Darling (Leparoux / Maker) has an edge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, the highest speed number at the distance, and three solid workouts.  She should be able to track and close efficiently.
$1 WIN / SHOW.

#5 The West Rim (Maragh / Parboo) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number, sharing the second highest speed number at the distance, and showing a superb in the money record of 74% in nineteen races.  She should be forwardly placed ready to pounce.
$1 PLACE / SHOW.

#3 Write When Ready (Prado / Alvarado) looks ready to make a good effort sharing the second highest speed number at the distance, a decent last out speed number, and three superb, peaking workouts.  She could make an excellent tracking effort.
$1 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#10 Brampton (Bravo / Jerkens) looks prepared to make this distance with two solid last out speed numbers, a three race progression, and three robust workouts.  She has sneaky good tactical speed.

#8 Starship Jodi (Jara / Dwoskin) will be in the mix sharing the fourth highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three athletic, peaking workouts.  Should the pace be swift, she will make good use of her closing talent.
