A great horse racing weekend begins on the Turf at Betfair Hollywood Park.

A talented field of eight will venture onto the green.  There is a great deal of speed in this one which may allow a gal coming from off the pace to pull off a victory.  It should be a very nice race.

#8 Missdealornodeal (Krigger / Hollendorfer) has enough tactical speed to sit back and wait for her opening.  She holds the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three superb workouts.  She fits exceptionally well in this field.

#4 Jet Blue Girl (Bejarano / Eurton) will be coming off an extended layoff and will be attempting this distance on the Turf for the first time.  Nevertheless she is 100% in the money at Hollywood and holds the third highest overall speed number.  She will be tracking the pace efficiently and has put in four robust, peaking workouts in preparation.

#1 Caribaya Queen (Quinonez / Headley) looks ready to challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four seriously speedy workouts.  She will be part of the forwardly placed group.

#7 Gem of Soul [BRZ] (V. Espinoza / Avila] might be the surprise with the fourth highest last out speed number at a route race and two splendid workouts.  She had a successful three race career sprinting over the Turf in her native Brazil.

Churchill Downs R8.  Allowance.  We captured three of the four spots in our superfecta box ticket thus failing to score.  Superfecta went 3-4-7-5.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Twinspired, finished 2nd for show money of $2.40.
