Superfecta Sunday at Churchill Downs

A thrilling Preakness 137 was run yesterday.  It came down to the two stars of the race, Bodemeister and I'll Have Another, in the closing yards of the stretch.  I'll Have Another caught Bodemeister at the wire to keep his Triple Crown dreams alive.  Now it is on to Belmont which they don't call "Big Sandy" for nothin'.  It will be a very spectacular June 9th, 2012.  Place that date on your calendar.  We expect the undercard to be fabulous.

Now on to our Superfecta Sunday at brillant Churchill Downs.

Churchill Downs Race 8 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Allowance}
A beautiful Sunday for a Turf race as nine talented horses will line up for this featured allowance race.  A little bit of speed will keep the pace honest.  The vast majority of the runners in here will be coming from off that pace.  Let's give a nice effort in stitching together a good 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#7 Minister Colin (Sellers / Proctor) appears ready to crush this field with the second highest (tie) last out speed number coming off a longer turf route, the third highest speed number at the distance coupled with an 80% in the money record at the turf distance, and the best workout tab of four serious, peaking workouts.  This guy will be closing swiftly.

#4 Twinspired (Mena / Maker) will challenge with the highest last out speed number which also happens to be the highest at the distance, a two race progression, and one stout workout.  He should be able to track and close well.  He is our bronze horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Middie (Court / Oliver) should be in the mix with the third highest speed number over the turf surface, sharing the second highest last out speed number at a longer turf route, and three methodical workouts.  Watch this guy close with flourish.

#8 Lookin At Tiger (Goncalves / Sims) has good tactical speed which will find him forwardly placed ready for first strike in the stretch.  He holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and two robust workouts.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#7 Minister Colin / #4 Twinspired / #3 Middie / #8 Lookin At Tiger.
