Oh, Hollywood !!

We start out horse racing weekend with a look at a splendid Turf contest at Hollywood Park.

Betfair Hollywood Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Optional Claiming}
Eight talented filiies/mares will venture onto the grass.  A little speed with a couple of pressers should keep the pace honest.  There is parity in the speed numbers.  Any one of these gals could step out for a great race.

#8 Celestial Kitten (V. Espinoza / Cecil) has a slight edge with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four well-built, peaking workouts.  She sit close and unleash in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Rosehill Dew [IRE] has some upside potential with the fourth highest speed number over the surface, coming off a mile Turf race, and packing in four super robusto workouts.  She will be closing swiftly in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Elvies Lane (Vergara / Morgan) will be stretching out with the fourth highest last out speed number and three superb workouts.  This gal should close well.

#3 Bwana Babe (Pedroza / Blincoe) should be the speedster in the race seeking to hold on for a piece of the purse pie.  She holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and three stout peaking workouts.
