Santa Anita Turf Calls Us

Once again we roll into our horse racing weekend on this Thursday.  Turf is on the docket at a most beautiful venue, Santa Anita.

Santa Anita Race 7 {1 mile~TURF~4 year old Up~CA~Optional Claiming}
An interesting group of ten horse will make the start in this Turf battle.  There is plenty of speed which, if pressed, may set this one up for an off the pace runner.  A good Turf race should unfold.

#9 Ride Along (T. Baze / McCarthy) looks ready to tackle this group with the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and three solid workouts.  This guy should be able to stay close to the speedsters and get first jump in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Our Boy Benjamin (Leparoux / M. Jones) will challenge with the second highest (3-way tie), a three race progression, and two fine workouts.  This lad could track the pace and run free in the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#11 Alley Hondro (Talamo / Ellis) should be a contender with the highest speed number at the distance, coming off a longer route prior to a nice freshening, and putting in three stout workouts.  He can be expected to be forwardly placed ready to press on.

#3 Teafatiller (E. Flores / Jackson) appears to be in good form with the fourth highest last out speed number and two strong workouts.  He will be coming from off the pace charging home.

10 CENT Superfecta

#9 Ride Along, #6 Our Boy Benjamin / #9, #6 / #11 Alley Hondro, #3 Teafatiller / #11, #3.
