Superfecta Sunday at Gulfstream Park

Another Superfecta Sunday falls upon us.  Today we look at a highly competitive graded stakes race.

Gulfstream Park Race 10 {Hurricane Bertie~G3~6 1/2 furlongs~4 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A very talented field of eleven older gals are expected to make the start in this annual sprint stakes.  This race is filled with high octane speed which may develop into a speed dual.  It is a challenging race to guage.  Let's try to cobble a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#2 R Holiday Mood (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) will be part of the speedster pack with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, the highest speed number at the distance (4-way tie), and two diligent workouts.  She favors the Gulfstream track which may give her a slight edge.

#6 Golden Mystery (Saez / Wolfson) will challenge with the third highest last out speed number and two robust workouts.  She shares the highest speed number at the distance.  Another who loves the Gulfstream Park track, she should use her tracking capability to great advantage.

#9 Emma's Encore (Alvarado / Jerkens) could surprise with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and three sensational workouts.  This gal appears ready to fire with a strong closing kick.  She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#5 Fantasy of Flight (Castellano / Nevin) is a contender by virtue of holding the highest last out speed number, working a two race progression and launching three splendid peaking workouts.  She has tactical speed to stay close and fire when ready.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#2 R Holiday Mood  +  #6 Golden Mystery  +  #9 Emma's Encore  +  #5 Fantasy of Flight.
