A Mile Turf start to our Horse Racing Weekend

Let's take in a little sunshine and Turf to start out horse racing weekend.

Santa Anita Race 7 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old~Optional Claiming}
A strong field of ten will go to the grass in this feature race.  It comes up a little light on speed. The speed numbers are fairly close for most. It should be a swell race.

#8 Number Five (Pereira / Mullins) might have a slight edge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route, a four race progression and three superb workouts. This guy should be forwardly placed allowing him to get first jump on the field.
$2 SHOW.

#6 I'll Wrap It Up (Trujillo / O'Neill) should also be able to press the pace with the third highest last out speed number at a longer route and three stout workouts. This lad holds the third highest speed number at the distance.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Ashleyluv'ssugar (Van Dyke / Eurton) should challenge with the highest last out speed number, a six race progression, and three solid peaking workouts. He should be closing swiftly into a decent pace.

#4 I'vegotafeeling [GB] (M. Garcia / Callaghan) could improve in his second North American start. He holds a couple of decent last out performances and has put in three robust workouts during a brief freshening. He could grab the lead and not look back.
