Superfecta Sunday at Belmont

Another beautiful Fall day for a Superfecta Sunday. We take a look at a dynamic Turf contest.

Belmont Park Race 9 {Athenia~G3~1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Graded Stakes}

A great group of eleven gals will hit the Turf in this graded stakes race.  There is plenty of pace to make this race sizzle as all of these run for position. The speed numbers are very, very close making it somewhat difficult to separate these ladies. It should be a tremendous race. Our task is to stitch together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#12 Anecdote [GB] will be making her second North American start with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one bullet workout. She scored a victory over the Belmont Turf in her last outing. This gal will be tracking and closing fiercely as she stretches out to a longer Turf route. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Byrama [GB] (J. Velazquez / Mott) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two robust workouts. She is a reliable sort who should track the pace and explode into the stretch. This gal relishes the Belmont Turf.

#1 Overheard (Castellano / Pierce) will contend as a lover of the distance. She holds a couple of good last out speed numbers and has put in four superb workouts in preparation. This lady should be able to close swiftly into a solid pace.

#2 La Tia (Rosario / De la cerda) should be the speed of the race attempting to wire the field. She holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a longer route and one top-notch workout. This gal has performed well at this distance.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#12 Anecdote [GB]  +  #4 Byrama [GB]  +  #1 Overheard  +  #2 La Tia.
