Horse Racing Weekend begins at Santa Anita

We open our horse racing weekend on this Thursday by taking a look at a nice TURF race in sunny Southern California.

Santa Anita Park Race 5 {1 1/8 mile~TURF~2 year old~Maiden Special Weight}
A great group of eight youngsters will hoof it on the Turf in this allowance feature. No speed is evident which should make for a very interesting race. Those that are sent by their connections could have the advantage. The speed numbers are relatively comparable. It should be a very competitive race.

#5 Willing to Travel (Bejarano / Hollendorfer) holds the highest last out speed number, three race progression, and four tremendous peaking workouts. This son of Pleasantly Perfect also holds the highest speed number over the Santa Anita course.
$2 SHOW.

#1 Miltee (Gutierrez / Callaghan) holds the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one solid workout. This son of Arch has already been successful over the Santa Anita course earing a third place finish.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#4 Film Freak (Van Dyke / Proctor) shows the third highest (3-way tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two sound workouts. This son of Fusiachi Pegasus will making his first start over the Turf. 

#8 Increase (Periera / Avila) holds the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one endurance building workout. This son of Neko Bay is also experienced over the Santa Anita Turf.

10 CENT Superfecta

Last Superfecta Sunday (10/19) Results
Belmont Park R8.  Allowance.  Our 10 CENT Superfecta box play was abandoned due to the scratch of one of our wagering interests. Superfecta went 7-4-3-1.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Middleburg, won (1st) for show money of $1.10.
Bankroll gains a dime to settle at $8.69.
