Furlong Friday in Chicago

Thank goodness it's Furlong Friday.  Today we take a look at a nice sprint over the Polytrack at Arlington International.

Arlington International Race 4 {7 Furlongs~3 year-old Up~Allowance Optional Claiming}

A fabulous field of eight will go to the gate in this mid-card feature. There is decent speed to keep the pace swift.  Speed figs are fairly close which should lead to a contentious race. This group all have nice in the money records demonstrating that any on of them could finish with some purse dough.

#5 Sir Applesolutely (Geroux / Block) is coming off an extended layoff, but appears ready to do battle with this talented group. He holds the highest speed number at the distance. Prior to the layoff he was working a three race progression and was last seen scoring a victory earning the highest last out speed number of this crew. He has put in four strong peaking workouts in preparation.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Treasury Bill (Valdivia / Russell) comes into this one with the second highest last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and four robust peaking routes. This lad holds the second highest speed number at the distance. He should be tracking the pace.

#2 Valiant City (Gudiel / Becker) should be in the hunt with a couple of good last out speed numbers and two sound workouts. He should be forwardly placed. This guy has the best in the money record of 82% from seventeen starts. He loves the Arlington track.

#6 Good Bye Greg (Baird / Rivelli) should contend with the fourth highest (tie) last out speed number, a four race progression, and two stout workouts. He should be the speed of the field seeking to wire it. This lad holds a 100% in the money record at the distance and over the track.
