Friday Before the Storm

As tropical Storm Ericka bears down on Florida, lets get one in before the storm. Today we take a look at a reasonable mile race at that magnificent track in South Florida.

Gulfstream Park Race 3 {1 mile~3 year-old Up~fillies/mares~Claiming}

A good group of seven will enter the gate for this low level claiming race. There is a little bit of speed and/or forwardly placed types to keep an honest pace. Speed figures are comparable for these ladies. It should be an interesting race.

#4 Party Till Dawn (Dominguez / Persaud) is making a small drop in class for this one after a brief freshening. She holds the highest speed number at the distance, the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one stout workout. She could show speed as she did in her last or just track the pace and strike in the stretch.
$1 WIN  /  $2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Secret Memory (H. Hernandez / Navarro) should be the favorite with a couple of good last out speed numbers that earned her some money. She does hold the highest speed number over the Gulfstream track and has a 73% in the money record from fifteen starts.
This lady has the tactical speed to stay close and swoop into the stretch.

#1 Senorita Divina (Zimmerman / Levy) should contend with a forwardly placed position. She holds the third highest last out speed number and a two race progression. She takes a drop in class to challenge this group. This gal holds a 50% in the money record from twenty-six starts.

#7 Bahia de Oro (Gonzales / Duco) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number and a two race progression. She will be tracking the pace seeking to pour it on in the stretch. This gal loves the Gulfstream track hitting the board 88% of the time.
