Superfecta Sunday in Kentucky

We take up our Superfecta Sunday attempt at a quaint little track down Kentucky way.

Ellis Park Race 8 {1 mile~3 year-old Up~fillies/mares~Allowance}

A very competitive group of eight will go to the gate. Speed numbers are very close insuring a close race. There is enough speed and forwardly placed types to keep an honest pace. It is an intriguing race where any of these gals have the capability to notch the victory. Our task is to cobble a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#4 Zelda Can Dance (Pedroza / Hiles) could have the advantage with the second highest  last out speed number, a three race progression and one peaking workout. She should be tracking the pace closely and swoop into the stretch. This gal likes the track and the mile distance. She is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Strike Back Fast (Court / Lukas) just broke her maiden, but appears ready to take another step forward. She holds the third highest (3-way tie) last out speed number, a tremendous seven race progression, and two superb peaking workouts. This filly does have a stout 57% in the money record from seven starts.

#7 Tocqueville [ARG] (Albarado / Stidham) should challenge sharing the second highest speed number at the distance and shares the third highest Beyer last out. She raced longer last out at Arlington International and has put in two strong workouts. This lady should be forwardly placed for first strike capability.

#8 C Islandsurprise (B. Hernandez / McGee) should contend sporting the highest last out speed number which was earned at this distance. She is working a two race progression and has put in two substantive workouts. This lass is another that should be forwardly placed.

10 CENt Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#4 Zelda Can Dance  +  #3 Strike Back Fast  +  #Tocqueville [ARG]  +  #8 C Islandsurprise.
