Superfecta Sunday at Arlington International

Celebrating our Superfecta Sunday at magnificent Arlington International, we look at a Maiden Claiming race early on the card.

Arlington International Race 3 {1 mile~3 year-old Up~Maiden Claiming}

An intriguing group of seven will strut out onto the poly in search of their first win. The crew comes up light on speed which makes for an interesting race. Speed numbers appear to be all over the matrix. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket.

#7 Briar Hill Baron (Emigh / Becker) might have the edge in his third career start and first as a gelding. He shows the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one stout workout. Statistically, this lad has the best jockey-trainer combination of the group. He is dropping in class from a Maiden Special Weight. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Orphan Sun (Murrill / Bennett) should challenge in his first career start. Another that has top notch jockey-trainer stats. A son of Fort Prado, he should relish the polytrack. This lad sports a strong workout tab prepping for his first start. He should be ready to roll.

#6 Warrior King (Homeister / Aguilar) could be in the fight with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and one peaking workout. He is dropping in class in an attempt to break his maiden. With the proper pace he should track and close nobly.

#1 Drill Sergeant (Wright/ Delong) should contend bravely with a solid in the money record of 72% from eleven starts. This lad holds the highest speed number at the distance and has put in one hearty workout since his last race. He will be closing gallantly.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)
