Going North for Stakes Saturday

A fabulous Stakes Saturday for Stakes races. We go North to take a look at a competitive graded stakes for the young fillies.

Woodbine {Natalma~G2~1 mile~TURF~2 year-old~fillies~Graded Stakes}

An improving group of eleven gals will take to the turf in this contest. There is enough speed to make for a potentially heated pace. Speed numbers are relatively close as each of these girls stride for better. I should be a hotly contested event.

#4 Gamble's Ghost (Contreras / J. Carroll) might have the edge with the third highest last out speed number in her only start and three sound peaking workouts. This daughter of Ghostzapper should close into a sizzling pace as she stretches out in this one.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE.

#3 Most Inspiring (A. Garcia  /  Vella) will challenge with a decent last out speed number at a sprint and three serious workouts. This gal should be near the pace ready to strike going into the stretch. A daughter of the great Gio Ponti, she should cherish the Turf surface.
$1 PLACE  /  $1 SHOW.

#1 Caren (Campbell / DePaulo) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four superior peaking workouts. She is undefeated in three starts. This daughter of Society's Chairman, will battle for the lead.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#9 Catch a Glimpse (Geroux / Casse) will be in the mix as she is forwardly placed. This gal holds the fourth highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two hearty workouts.A daughter of City Zip, she should show noted improvement in this her third start.

20 CENT Superfecta

#4 Gamble's Ghost  /  #3 Most Inspiring  /  #1 Caren  /  #9 Catch a Glimpse.

Furlong Friday Results
Belmont Park R8.  Christiecat Stakes. We were washed off the Turf. Consequently, three of our four selections were scratched.  With a field of only five we scuttled our wagering effort.
Bankroll remains the same at $6.61.
