Horse Racing Weekend begins at Arlington

We start our Horse Racing Weekend as Arlington International's final weekend of the season.

Arlington International Race 4 {6 furlongs~3 year-old Up~fillies/mares~IL~Maiden Claiming}

A fine group of nine will make the start seeking to break their maiden. The race comes up a little light on speed, but there are a few in here which seem to like to be forwardly placed. Speed numbers are fairly close as these gals seek to get their first win. It should be an exciting race.

#6 Chosen Tune (Emigh / Kirby) might have the edge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and three superb workouts. This lass will be making her third career start. Expect her to be close to the pace and pounce in the straight.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Aunt Dixiejo (Montalvo / Medina) should challenge sharing the third highest last out speed number at a route, working a two race progression, and one stout workout. She is another that should be forwardly placed seeking to make a move into the stretch.

#2 One June (Valdivia / Catalano) should contend with the second highest last out speed number at a route and a two race progression. She is dropping in class and should be tracking the pace looking for an opening to stride through with flourish.

#9 La Bella (Molina / Cox) should be in the mix with a couple of decent last out speed numbers and two excellent workouts. This lass can be expected to press the pace and get first jump on whoever may lead if not her.

10 CENT Superfecta

#6 Chosen Turn  /  #1 Aunt Dixiejo  /  #2 One June  /  #9 La Bella.

Last Superfecta Sunday (9/24) Results
Belmont Park R7. Claiming.  We failed in our attempt to capture the 10 CENT Superfecta Box ticket grabbing three of the four wagering interests needed to cash. Superfecta went 6-9-1-4.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Relentless Ride, finished 4th.
Bankroll gets slammed to $1.51. We will supplement with a Hamilton for this Horse Racing Weekend.
