Superfecta Sunday on Yielding Turf

Congratulations to the connections of Nyquist, winner of the 2016 Kentucky Derby.

On this Superfecta Sunday we look in on a fine Turf race in the city that never sleeps.

Belmont Park Race 7 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Allowance}

A talented group of Turfers will hit the green in this feature Turf race. As of this writing the Turf is listed as yielding making for an intriguing handicapping challenge. Speed numbers are very similar and there is enough speed in this one to keep the pace swift. A couple in here have raced well enough on other continents. Our task is to fasten a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket together.

#2 Infinite Wisdom (Rosario / Lynch) has an edge with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two power workouts. He should be forwardly placed seeking to score. This guy holds the highest speed number at the distance.

#5 Hello Don Julio (Carmouche / Dilger) will be making his third career start and should be in prime form. He holds the highest last out speed number covering a longer distance in a graded stakes race down at Gulfstream Park. This lad has progressed speed figure wise in these two starts. He has put in a robust workout in the last thirty days.

#7 Nigel's Destiny (Franco / Motion) is coming over from across the pond after racing reasonably well in Great Britain. He will be stretching out for this race having put in four strong peaking workouts. This guy has notched three wins in tough and tumble England, albeit over the synthetic surface. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Tale of Fancy (J. Ortiz / Tagg) should contend with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a four race progression, and one solid workout. This guy has the tactical speed to stay the course with whatever pace develops. He appears to be in great form having won his last two races.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#2 Infinite Wisdom  +  #5 Hello Don Julio  +  #7 Nigel's Destiny  +  #4 Tale of Fancy.
