Miling Down in Hot Springs

We begin our horse racing weekend with an allowance mile down in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

A modest field of eight will go to the gate in this allowance feature.  There is a good smattering of speed while the rest of the group likes to come from off the pace.  All of the gals entered in here are coming off layoffs.  Some short, some long.  It should be a good race.

#2 Amazing Shoes (Ocampo / Ritter) is coming off an extended layoff holding the second highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and has put in three stellar, peaking workouts.  She looks ready to improve off the layoff with her tactical speed.

#8 Goldrush Girl (Lebron / McPeek) is coming off a short layoff having had the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and putting in four superb, peaking workouts.  She should be ready to track and close into an honest pace.

#7 Lady Jensen (Wade / Von Hemel) is also coming off a short freshening with the third highest last out speed number and three solid workouts.  She should be closing swiftly through the stretch.

#1 Missippi Martini (Kuntzweiler / Hornsby) is coming off an extended layoff holding the fourth highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and putting in three diligent workouts.  She should be able to track the pace ready to strike.
