Superfecta Sunday at Gulfstream

Our first Superfecta Sunday of 2013.  We take a peek at an allowance race at that beautiful course in South Florida, Gulfstream Park.

Gulfstream Park Race 9 {1 mile~4 year old Up~Allowance}
A good field of nine will make the start in this feature allowance race.  This one comes up as a competitive race with a nice assortment of running styles.  Our task will be to stitch together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#3 Tiz Yankee (Lezcano / Zito) will be one of the speedsters in the race trying to dictate the pace.  He holds the highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two diligent workouts.  He also holds the highest speed number over the Gulfstream track.  Could be the one to beat.

#7 Suns Out Guns Out (Lanerie / Romans) will challenge with the second highest last out speed number at a longer route and two solid workouts.  Expect him to stay close pressing the pace.  He definitely likes the Gulfstream track.

#2 Street Thug (J. Velazquez / R. Dutrow) is another speedster looking to control the pace with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression prior to an extended layoff and five superb workouts.  He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#9 Reload (Castellano / McGaughey) should be able to take advantage of furious pace with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and four satisfying workouts.  He should have a terrific closing kick.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#3 Tiz Yankee  +  #7 Suns Out Guns Out  +  #2 Street Thug  +  #9 Reload.
