Friday Belmont Turf

Thank goodness it is Friday.  Thank goodness for Turf.

Belmont Park Race 2 {7 furlongs~TURF~3 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A very competitive crew of nine Turfers will line up in this early feature race.  There is plenty of speed to keep the pace swift.  All in this one are very closely matched.  For the number two race on the card this one should be a good one.

#3 Partly Mocha (Maragh / Weaver) looks to have a slight edge with the second highest (3-way tie) last out speed number and two solid workouts.  He also holds the highest speed number over the Belmont Turf.  He should be tracking the pace very closely.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#4 Wind of Bosphorus (Alvarado / Asmussen) will challenge with the third highest (tie) last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and two robust peaking workouts.  He should be forwardly placed seeking to strike at the leaders.
$1 SHOW.

#1 Reserved Quality (J. Velazquez / Gyamati) should also challenge with the highest last out speed number at a route, a two race progression, and three perfectly peaking workouts.  This will be his first start on Turf.  He should be tracking and closing fluidly.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#7 Special Selection (J. Espinoza / Shimangel) should be in the hunt sharing the second highest last out speed number, working a three race progression and putting in two hearty peaking workouts.  He has a very versatile running style which should benefit him well in a race top-heavy with speedsters and forwardly placed horses.
