Superfecta Sunday along the Jersey Shore

We spend this Superfecta Sunday looking at a splendid Stakes route for fillies and mares along the Jersey shore.

Monmouth Park Race 9 {Lighthouse~1 1/16 mile~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Stakes}
A compact field of seven talented fillies and mares will go off in this feature stakes race.  All in here have the ability to show speed as well as like to be forwardly placed or close to the pace.  It could develop as a very tactical race with those that position well getting to the wire first.  Let's try to fashion a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#7 Moon Philly (Pimentel / Trombetta) is coming up from Maryland for this one and looks to have a slight edge.  She holds the second highest last out speed number and has put in four sensational peaking workouts that include three bullets.  This gal has an impressive in the money record at both the distance and overall, hitting the board 80% of the time.  She is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Cash for Clunkers (Serpa / Violette) is coming off an extended layoff, but holds the highest speed number at the distance, a triple digit, as well as a 100% in the money record at same over four races.  She has put in two solid workouts in preparation.

#5 Successful Song (Trujillo / Plesa) is coming off a brief layoff with three quality workouts during the month of June.  Prior to the layoff she holds the third highest (tie) last out speed number and has run exceptionally well at this distance, hitting the board 80% of the time in fifteen starts.

#6 Withgreatpleasure (Rivera / Nunn) should be in the thick of things sharing the third highest last out speed number and putting in one diligent workout.  She also holds the third highest speed number at the distance.  This gal will be close to the pace ready to strike.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#7 Moon Philly  +  #2 Cash for Clunkers  +  #5 Successful Song  +  #6 Withgreatpleasure.
