Furlong Friday at Aqueduct

Thank goodness it is Friday.  We take a look at a nice sprint at venerable Aqueduct.

Aqueduct Race 8 {7 furlongs~3 year old Up~Optional Claiming}
A fascinating field of ten will go to the gate in this furlong feature.  This is a speed laden contest which my ultimately benefit those able to drive from off the pace.  The speed numbers are relatively comparable which should make for a highly competitive dash.

#1A Praetereo (Cohen / Jacobson) and his coupled entrant #1 Ravalo (Alvarado / Jacobson) might have a slight edge as both enjoy tracking and closing.  Praetereo holds the second highest last out speed number at a route and has put in one peaking workout.  This guy also has the third highest speed number at the distance.  Either #1A Praetereo or #1 Ravalo could pull off the victory.
$1 WIN / $1 SHOW.

#9 Night Maneuver (Maragh / Contessa) will challenge with the highest speed number at the distance and two superb peaking workouts.  He also holds the highest speed number over the Aqueduct track.  This lad will be forwardly placed seeking to pounce on the leaders.
$1 SHOW.

#7 Majestic Hussar (Rosario / Ward) should contend with a couple of earnest last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and two dynamite workouts.  He is coming out of a grade three race with thirty day rest.  He should fire well fresh.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Reload (Castellano / McGaughey) will be in the mix with the third highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three stellar workouts.  He holds the best in the money record at the distance at 83% in six starts.  Expect him to use his versatile running style to stay close and position for a strong finish.

#1A Praetereo (#1 Ravalo) / #9 Night Maneuver / #7 Majestic Hussar / #4 Reload.
