Belmont for Stakes Saturday

It shapes up to be a Belmont weekend as we stay on to view a tremendous stakes race at the expansive track.

Belmont Park Race 9 {Peter Pan~G2~1 1/8 mile~3 year old~Stakes}
An extremely competitive group of seven will jog to the gate in this annual graded stakes race.  This is not a group of Tinker Bells.  These lads will battle valiantly for the victory.  The race comes up light on speed which may aid the cause of those forwardly placed types.  It should be a very exciting race.

#2 Fabulous Kid (Alvarado / Toner) may don the ski mask in this one as the lone speed.  A son of Congrats has a couple of decent last out speed numbers as he stretches out to a longer route.  He is working a two race progression and has put in one very robust workout.  This guy could show additional improvement as he makes his third career start.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#4 Tonalist (Rosario / Clement) will provide the challenge with the highest last out speed number prior to a brief layoff.  He, too, is working a two race progression and has put in two sensational workouts.  The son of Tapit should track the pace somewhat closely ready to strike.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#6 Our Caravan (Lezcano / Dilger) could surprise with the third highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and one stout workout.  He could find himself close to the pace and get first jump on the leader.  This son of Dasher has already secured a victory at this distance.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#3 Commissioner (Castellano / Pletcher) will be in the hunt with a couple of very good last out speed numbers and one hearty workout.  This son of A.P. Indy holds the highest speed number at the distance.  A strong pace will help him close gallantly.
