Horse Racing Weekend begins with Turf

On this Thursday, the start of our horse racing weekend, we look at a nice Turf race in Chicago.

Arlington Park Race 5 {1 1/16 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~IL~Allowance}
A good group of seven gals will go to the green in this allowance feature.  There is enough speed to keep the pace honest.  The speed numbers at the distance, whether on Turf, dirt or synthetic, are relatively close. It should be a very good race.

#2 Cracking Good Pins (Russell / Janks) should be able to score the win after coming off an extended layoff. She holds the highest speed number at the distance and has put in two extremely sharp workouts.  Certainly the one to beat.
$2 WIN.

#3 Mya Faccia Bella (Emigh / P. Miller) could surprise with the second highest last out speed number and one solid workout.  She holds the second highest speed number at the distance and has done very well at the distance, albeit off the Turf. Look for her to be forwardly placed.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Mission Storm (Graham / Domenosky) should challenge with the third highest speed number at the distance, a couple of o.k. last out speed numbers, and two strong workouts.  This gal should take up a splendid tracking run.
$2 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#4 Bonita Rita (Roman / De la cerda) should be the pace setter with the third highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and two superb workouts.  This gal has the capability to wire this field.
