Horse Racing Weekend Begins on Turf

We begin our horse racing weekend with a longer Turf route in Southern California.

Santa Anita Race 7 {1 1/4 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Optional Claiming}
A great group of nine gals will take to the grass in this Turf feature. The race comes up a little light on speed which could make for quite a quickening going into the stretch. A fabulous race should unfold.

#4 Scooter Bird (Talamo / Sadler) appears ready to take another step forward with a couple of good last out speed numbers and four stamina producing workouts.  She holds the highest speed number at the distance as one of only two going long.  This gal should be part of the quickening herd.
$2 SHOW.

#6 Amnesia [IRE] (Perez / Drysdale) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two serious peaking workouts.  She should be tracking the pace and swoop down into the stretch with fervor.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 Remarkable Moon (Espinoza / Gallagher) should contend with the second highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four hearty workouts.  Perhaps her third attempt at this distance will be the charm.  She will need some pace to close well.

#9 Lil Swiss Echo (Van Dyke / Cerin) should be in the hunt with the third highest last out speed number and a three race progression.  She holds the best in the money record of 62%.  This gal will also need some pace to be in the thick of it.

10 CENT Superfecta

#4 Scooter Bird  /  #6 Amnesia [IRE]  /  #3 Remarkable Moon  /  #9 Lil Swiss Echo.

Last Superfecta Sunday (5/11) Results
Churchill R9.  Allowance Optional Claiming.  We misfired on our 10 CENT Superfecta box play missing it by one wagering interest.  Superfecta went 4-6-8-1.
Our Bronze Horseshoe runner, Perfect Title, finished 4th.
Bankroll tumbles to $2.39.   We will supplement it with a couple of Lincolns.
