Superfecta Sunday at Arlington International

Hopefully a sunny Sunday will shine down on our Superfecta play. We finish off our horse racing weekend with a nice maiden Turf race at beautiful Arlington International, as they now call it.

Arlington International Race 5 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~Maiden Claiming}
A good group of nine will take to the green in this Maiden claiming race.  A fair number of them are touching close to their maiden win.  There is enough speed to carry the off the pace types through the fractions they like to see.  As with most maiden races it is a challenge to punch the right combination on our 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#9 Gumdrop (Geroux / Stidham) looks good enough to take that stride to victory.  With the highest last out speed number at a longer route, a two race progression, and three solid workouts, she could sit among the leaders and pounce in the stretch. She is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#4 Shakespearian Dream (Marquez / Tomlinson) should challenge with the fourth highest last out speed number and two vibrant workouts.  She has the tactical speed to fit the pace which will make her dangerous.  This gal has the highest speed number at the distance, among this group.

#1 Lady Loreto (Felix / Kassen) could contend with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a three race progression, and three strong peaking workouts.  This mare should be forwardly placed perhaps leading them through quick fractions.

#6 Child of God (Reznikov / Vashchenko) could surprise in her second start off the second highest last out speed number at a longer route and three sharpening type workouts. She will be making the transition from poly to turf and should relish a sweet tracking trip.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)

#9 Gumdrop  +  #4 Shakespearian Dream  +  #1 Lady Loreto  +  #6 Child of God.
