Stakes Saturday at Belmont Park

A fabulous Saturday features a great Belmont card.  We will look in on a tremendous graded feature race.

Belmont Park Race 8 {The Suburban~G2~1 1/4 mile~4 year old Up~Stakes}
A superlative field of eleven will make their way to gate in this grade two race.  There is plenty of speed to keep all of these fellas on their hooves.  It is anybody's race in this high quality field.  One of several on today's Belmont card that merit serious attention.

#5 Last Gunfighter (Castellano / C. Brown) might have a slight edge with a couple of triple digit last out speed figs, a two race progression, and three superb peaking workouts.  He will be firing fresh after a thirty day rest.  This lad has already scored two victories from four starts at this distance. A son of First Samurai, he should track and close efficiently.
$1 WIN  /  $1 SHOW.

#7 Prayer for Relief (Nakatani / Romans) will challenge with the second highest speed number at the distance and two sound peaking workouts.  He too should be tracking the pace awaiting an opening for the charge home.  This son of Jump Start also has the second highest speed number at the distance.
$1 SHOW.

#3 Zivo (Lezcano / C. Brown) should also contend with a couple of nice last out speed numbers and three solid peaking workouts.  This son of True Direction is an amazing 100% in the money from fourteen starts.  He will be stretching out to this distance for the first time from five wins in a row.
$1 SHOW.

Another Wagering Interest

#11 Moreno (Alvarado / Guillot) could be in the mix as one of the speedsters willing and able to hold on.  He holds the highest speed number at the distance and has put in two beautiful bullet workouts.  This son of Ghostzapper loves the Belmont track having scored two victories from three tries.

10 CENT Superfecta

#5 Last Gunfighter  /  #7 Prayer for Relief  /  #3 Zivo  /  #11 Moreno.
