Furlong Friday at Arlington

Thank goodness it's Furlong Friday. We take a peek at a nice sprint over the polytrack.

Arlington International Race 2 {6 furlongs~3 year old Up~fillies/mares~IL~Maiden Claiming}
A sincere group of seven will take a shot at winning their first race in this early race.  There are a couple in here that should be forwardly placed to try to get some pace on.  It should be an interesting race with any one of these gals capable of striding into the winners circle.

#1 Noeli Berlyn (Aragon / Miller) is the deserved favorite with the highest last out speed number.  She has posted a couple of seconds in a row which indicates she is knocking on the door.  This gal holds the second highest speed number over the Arlington poly.
$2 SHOW.

#3 Sacred Canyon (Esquivel / Kirby) is the only first time starter among the group.  She has put in three solid workouts in preparation for her first start.  Her connections are experienced at getting horses prepped for maiden contests.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#6 Shes a Bullseye (Cosme / Gore) is coming off an extended layoff and appears ready to challenge.  Her last two races, in the fall of last year compare well with the efforts of the others in the field.  She has put in four top notch workouts prepping for her first start this year.

#5 Star of Zanilla (Graham / Werner) should be forwardly placed ready to strike in the stretch.  Her last out effort was o.k. at a higher value maiden claiming race and a longer sprint.  She drops into this one with one healthy workout.
