Furlong Friday at Arlington International

A warm and friendly Furlong Friday to get charging into the weekend. Today we look at a sprint race at magnificent Arlington International.

Arlington International Race 2 {6 furlongs~3 year old Up~IL~Claiming}
A solid group of eight will hit the poly in this early race.  There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to keep a strong pace.  Most in here are fairly close in terms of speed numbers.  It should be a good race.

#8 Toews (Baird / P. Miller) should have the advantage with the highest last out speed number at a slightly longer sprint, a four race progression, and one solid workout. He should be close to the pace ready to strike at the top of the stretch.
$2 SHOW.

#7 Plains Warrior (Graham / Kirby) should challenge with the second highest (3-way tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and two sound workouts. This lad should be forwardly placed seeking to break from the front end pack.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#1 Bullet Bob (Geroux / Catalano) should contend sharing the second highest last out speed number and working a two race progression. He has a positive in the money record of 57% over the Arlington poly from seven starts.

#5 Grudge Match (Emigh / McCanick) is coming off nearly a year off from the races.  He does hold the second highest speed number at the distance and has put in four masterful peaking workouts. This lad should be tracking the pace ready to move smoothly into the stretch.
