Superfecta Sunday, the Kentucky Way

As our horse racing weekend comes to a close, we examine a nice Turf mile in Kentucky.

Churchill Downs Race 9 {1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Claiming}
A great crop of ten will take to the Kentucky grass in this claiming feature.  There is enough speedy types in here to present the possibility of a pace boil over. All of the speed numbers are fairly close. Our task is to put together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#2 Chisled (A. Garcia / Proctor) has a clear shot in this one with the third highest (tie) last out speed number, a two race progression, and four superb workouts. He is 100% in the money at this distance. This lad should follow the pace closely and pounce into the stretch. He is our Bronze Horseshoe runner on a pleasant Sunday afternoon.
$2 SHOW.

#9 Puppy Manners (Leparoux / Ward) should challenge sharing the third highest last out speed number, working a two race progression, and putting in one great workout. He is coming out of Stakes race and is the fierce closer in this field.

#7 Go Go Rocket (Bridgmohan / Lovell) will making his Turf debut with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and four terrific workouts during a brief layoff. He should fire fresh with a versatile running style.

#3 Bern' James Bern (Napravnik / Asmussen) should contend with the fourth highest last out speed number, a three race progression, and two stellar peaking workouts. He should be part of the front end pack seeking to control the pace. This guy does hold a win over the Churchill course from two tries.
