Stakes Saturday in the Parx

Today is Pennsylvania Derby day.  However we will look at a fantastic race on the under-card.

Parx Race 11 {Cotillion~G1~1 1/16 mile~3 year old~fillies~Graded Stakes}
A fabulous group of nine ladies will take to the dirt in this graded stakes race.  There is enough speed and forwardly placed types to set an honest pace. Most in here have closely matched speed numbers. It should be one of the highlights of PA Derby day.

#8 Untapable (Napravnik / Asmussen) looks primed and ready to take this one. She holds the highest last out speed number at a longer route and has put in three tremendous peaking workouts. This daughter of Tapit posts the highest speed fig at the distance. She should be close to the pace ready to spring into the stretch.
$2 WIN  /  $3 SHOW.

#7 Jojo Warrior (M. Garcia / Baffert) comes in from California to challenge her top-flight peers.  She holds the fourth highest last out speed number and has put in two superb peaking workouts. As a daughter of Pioneer of the Nile, she has a versatile running style that can fit the flow of the race.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Sweet Reason (I. Ortiz / Gyarmati) should challenge with the second highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three endurance producing workouts.  She will running late, much like her daddy, the great Street Sense. This gal, as nearly all of these competitors, is coming into the race with a brief freshening.
$2 SHOW.

Other Wagering Interests

#3 House Rules (Castellano / Jerkens) could be sitting on a big race with a couple of decent last out speed numbers, a two race progression, and three stellar, peaking workouts. This gal has a solid 66% in the money record at the distance. A daughter of Distorted Humor, she should be tracking and closing smoothly.

#9 Stopchargingmaria (J. Velazquez / Pletcher) should contend coming off three wins in a row securing good speed figures. Her last was a much longer route and she has put in two robust workouts.  This daughter of Tale of the Cat, has a great degree of versatility in her running style and should use it to her advantage.
