Superfecta Sunday Up North

On this superb Superfecta Sunday we look at fantastic Turf Mile North of the Border.

Woodbine Race 11 {Woodbine Mile~G1~1 mile~TURF~3 year old Up~Graded Stakes}
A supreme group of eleven will take to the Canadian Turf in this annual contest.  Some of the best jockeys and trainers of both Canada and America will converge at this premium Toronto track to test each others charges against one another. There is plenty of speed which could make the pace sizzle thereby giving those coming from off the pace the advantage. The speed numbers are fairly close with quite a few still seeking to improve to that elusive triple digit speed fig. Our task is to net a winning 20 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#11 Grand Arch (Moran / Lynch) has been in the money in all of his fifteen career races. He holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number, a four race progression, and three robust workouts. This land should be sitting just off the pace ready to explode into the stretch.

#5 Kaigun (Husbands / Casse) should challenge with the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and three stellar workouts.  He has a versatile running style which should fit well in this race and may get first strike at the top of the stretch. This lad has a perfect record over the Woodbine Turf in two starts. He is our Bronze Horseshoe runner.
$2 SHOW.

#2 Trade Storm [GB] (Spencer / Simcock) ships in from across the pond for this event.  In his last two efforts, both British stakes races, he finished second.  His last out was a longer route and appears to be coming into this race in fine form.  Watch him close dramatically in the stretch run.

#9 Jack Milton (Castellano / Pletcher) should contend with the third highest last out speed number and three hearty workouts. This lad holds the highest speed number at the distance. He should be tracking and closing vigorously.

20 CENT Superfecta Box (4.80)
Yes, Woodbine offers a 20 CENT minimum on all of its primo exotic wagers.

#11 Grand Arch  +  #5 Kaigun  +  #2 Trade Storm  +  #9 Jack Milton.
