Stakes Saturday at Beautiful Keeneland

The Breeder's Cup is only a couple of weeks away. Today we take a peek at a wonderful stakes sprint at most beautiful Keeneland.

Keeneland Race 9 {Lexus Raven Run~G2~7 furlongs~3 year-old~fillies~Graded Stakes}

A talented crop eleven of three year-old fillies will step into the gate. There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to keep a strong pace. Speed numbers are fairly close. It should be a highly competitive affair.

#5 Miss Ella (McCarthy / Motion) should have a slight edge as she appears to be in great form. This gal posts the fourth highest last out speed number and two solid workouts. She has the tactical speed to adapt to whatever pace develops. This daughter of Exchange Rate has already secured a win at this distance.
$1 WIN  /  $2 PLACE  /  $3 SHOW.

#2 Bar of Gold (Lezcano / Kimmel) should challenge with the highest last out speed number, a four race progression, and three superb workouts. This filly loves this distance and has a run up a 72% in the money record from seven starts. This daughter of Medaglia d'Oro should be forwardly placed ready to strike.
$1 PLACE  /  $2 SHOW.

#10 Chide (Mena / Stall) will contend with the second highest last out speed number, a six race progression, and two stout workouts. She is another that has acquitted herself well at this distance. A daughter of Blame, she should be tracking the pace well.
