Superfecta Sunday, California Dreamin'

As Del Mar closes out its Bing Crosby season we stay on to peer at a great classic Turf race.

Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Race 4 {1 3/8 mile~TURF~3 year-old Up~Allowance Optional Claiming}

A terrific group of ten will take to the Turf near the surf in this early carded allowance race. There is plenty of speed and forwardly placed types to guarantee an honest pace. Speed numbers are very close making for a competitive event. Our task is to string together a winning 10 CENT Superfecta box ticket.

#5 Unusually Green (Bejarano / Puype) appears to have the edge with the large number of swifties signed on. He holds the highest last out speed number, a two race progression, and two stout peaking workouts. This guy will be tracking and closing efficiently.

#11 It Is Living Water (Gutierrez / O'Neill) will challenge with a couple of good last out speed numbers and two hearty workouts. This guy has already notched a victory at this distance. He has the tactical speed to fit the pace and loves the Del Mar Turf.

#2 Thanksgiving Day (Graham / Drysdale) has improved with every race since arriving in America showing a four race progression. He holds the second highest (tie) last out speed number and has put in four strong endurance workouts. This lad should be forwardly placed ready to strike. He is our Bronze Horseshoe selection.
$2 SHOW.

#8 Tamait [FR] (Periera / Drysdale) will be making her second North American start after successful efforts in France. He has the highest in the money record attributed to his outstanding efforts on French Turf. He should put forth a solid effort today.

10 CENT Superfecta Box ($2.40)
